FAQs

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

Most clients receive their edited gallery within 2-3 weeks of their session. However, as outlined in my contract, delivery can take up to 30 days from the shoot date (excluding USAFE holidays/family days).

I work a full-time job during the day and am also currently in school, so I appreciate your patience as I balance photography with my other responsibilities. I always strive to deliver your photos as quickly as possible without compromising on quality!

How long are your sessions?

Each session is set to 20-30 minutes, depending on the shoot type and location.

Do you retouch the photos?

I do light retouching—think color correction, lighting tweaks, and removing any temporary blemishes. I keep it natural and true to the moment.

What I don’t do: I don’t alter bodies, reshape faces, or edit out things related to personal insecurities. You are not a Photoshop project—you’re already beautiful as you are. My goal is to capture the real, confident you, not a version that fits some unrealistic standard.

That said, if there’s something temporary (like a scratch or a lipstick smudge) that you’re worried about, just let me know and I’ll take care of it!

What if the weather's bad?

We’ll keep an eye on the forecast, and if it looks iffy, we’ll reschedule for a better day. No stress! I want the best possible conditions for your shoot!

Can I choose my own photos?

Yes you have that option. You'll receive a gallery of watermarked images to view after your session. From there, you can “favorite” or heart the ones you love most. Please let me know during your shoot if you’d like to choose your own photos—otherwise, I’ll select the best ones for you. Your package includes a set number of edited images, and if you’d like to purchase additional favorites beyond what’s included, you’ll have the option to do so directly from your gallery.

What kind of camera and lens do you use?

I shoot with the Canon R6 Mark II, a mirrorless camera that offers excellent image quality and performance. I typically pair it with either a 35mm lens for a more natural, documentary-style look, or the 24-70mm f/2.8, which gives me flexibility for a range of situations—from wide shots to close-up portraits.

Can I have the RAW photos?

Yes, I do offer the option to receive the RAW (unedited) photos from your session for an additional fee of $150. If you're interested, please let me know at the time of the booking or shoot and we will coordinate another meet up. Please note that RAW files are large and unedited, meaning they will not reflect the final polished look of your gallery.

What should I wear for my photo session?

For your session, I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Neutral tones, soft colors, or classic patterns tend to photograph beautifully. Avoid bold logos or busy patterns, as they can distract from the overall look. Coordinating colors (but not matching exactly) work great for group photos. Layers and textures, like cozy knits or flowy fabrics, can add depth to your images. Most importantly, wear something that reflects your style and personality—you’ll feel more natural and at ease in front of the camera!

Where are you located?

I am based near Ramstein, Germany, and if you're willing to travel, I will happily shoot all throughout Europe.

What kind of seasonal sessions do you offer?

I offer all kinds of seasonal sessions depending on the time of year! In spring and summer, I shoot in sunflower fields, canola fields, lavender fields, meadows, and at castles like Burg Lichtenberg or Burg Eltz. Fall is perfect for pumpkin patches and golden leaves, and in winter I love doing sessions at Christmas markets or cozy castle spots. I also offer senior photos year-round! It just depends on the vibe you're going for!
